 The Symposium is divided into two parts. On the first day lectures will be attended by invited distinguished domestic and foreign experts, who will shed light on certain topical issues; this will be followed by a discussion engaging a broader circle of participants organised as a panel, addressing various issues concerning road, rail, air and maritime transport. The second day will be dedicated to a professional excursion.
We believe that the problems highlighted by this year's Symposium are issues of vital importance which, as such, deserve comprehensive public discussion. You are invited to take this opportunity to attend the Symposium and exchange your opinions and experiences with other experts - in short, to be part of our event. Your active participation is one of the prerequisites for a successful Symposium.
This does not involve merely familiarity with relevant issues. The forging of mutual acquaintances and contacts between professional peers is perhaps even more important. The ISEP opens up an excellent opportunity for this. If you are aware of a problem that needs to be addressed or if you believe you have developed a solution to one of the problems that will be tackled in the panel discussions, you should not hesitate to take part in the Symposium. Both lectures for invited guests and contributions made by panel discussions will be published in the Compilation of Symposium Papers and thus recorded for posterity.
